"Release Me" is a new studio album available now.
"Natural Forces" was released on October 20, 2009, Lyle Lovett went back on the road. After 29 years of recording and touring, Lovett has come out with Natural Forces, an album he wrote or co-wrote nearly half of. Six of the songs are written by Texas songwriters he admires to include David Ball, Vince Bell, Erick Taylor and Townes Van Zandt. He also co-wrote "It’s Like Rock and Roll" with Robert Earl Keen who also performs on the album.
Lovett is also performing in a handful of shows with his very good friend John Hiatt. He and Hiatt have been performing off and on together since 1989 and this year will perform side-by-side in an old fashioned "guitar pull."
